I know its been awhile since I blogged, things in life have just been a whirlwind. I'll start with our vacation to Indiana. We had SO much fun visiting my real dad and my step mom. We spent 10 days there and they are amazing. I got to meet my Uncle and his wife, my Aunt and her husband and some of their friends. Everyone there has such a big heart and really welcomed us with open arms, it was like I had known them all my life. JR and Donnie (my real dad) fished in the CrappieUSA tournament down at Lake Patoka, where we stayed on a houseboat. The boat was AMAZING and I would love to someday retire and live on one. They placed 18th out of 64 teams..which was very good! But more importantly they had a blast. While they were sleeping and getting up early for the tournament, I was at the casino (aka The Gamblin' Boat) with my Aunt Juanita and my step mom Patty. What a BLAST!!! We lost up until the last half hour we were there and then Patty saved the day and won all the money back. It was too fun. We were there for a bout 9 hours LOL. We also went camping at Boggs Lake for a night. That was some fun fishing and some good time spent with the family. It was also my first time fishing out on a boat in a lot of years, so I was nervous but was fine after the first 10min or so. I got to spend a lot of time with Donnie and Patty and that was great. JR really liked them and we were so sad to come home to "real life". Real life wasnt much fun after we got home, with the dogs fighting and Baloo almost killing Chico, what a fun night at the PET ER at 1:00am..not. Then come Monday I lost my job, and come to find out I was replaced while on vacation. Life just isnt fair sometimes. I've been trying to stay positive and keep busy, but its really hard to go from one extreme to the next in a matter of days. I guess things happen for a reason and it is what it is. There must be something better in store for me, I just dont know what that is yet. On a happier note- Im posting some pics from our vacation. Enjoy! I'll have to blog more later and definately more often.

It's been awhile....

Hey everyone! Sorry its been so long since I blogged..Its been a whirlwind around here. We are getting ready to leave to go to Indiana, we leave this coming Thursday. We are excited and a little nervous at the same time. It will be good times though getting to spend time with my biological father and his wife, getting to know them better and a much needed vacation. JR and I have been sick the last week..nothing short of fun I tell ya.. I went to the DR Friday and he told me I had brochitis which was turning into pneumonia..LOVELY! So he sent me home with antibiotics and a pain killer... later that night my temperature had reached 104.3 and needless to say I was feeling HORRIBLE. I didn't want to move...Tami ended up taking me to St.Lukes where they put me on an IV, gave me some medicines to make my pain go away and my fever finally broke. Today is Sunday and Im feeling better, still sick, but definately not like I was. I hope it is completely gone by the time we leave for our trip. JR is doing better also, he never went to the DR (MEN!!) and decided to ride it out. Well, on a good note- I got a new car!! I love it! We still have the Malibu, but JRs cousin has taken it over, since she has the 3 girls and needs a good running car. I'll post some pictures of the new car..I haven't really driven it a lot since I got sick shortly after, but I couldnt be happier with it. We got a good deal on it, and it is something I really like. We are trying to sell our Jeep so that JR can get himself a boat. He has wanted one for awhile now, so hopefully we can get it sold. Well I think thats it for now..I'll have more to update on when we get back from Indiana. Take Care All!!

Well.. Ive been trying for a few days now to get some of these pictures up and it hasnt let me so lets try again.. (I may have to post a couple different blogs to get them all on here)....some new pics of the house..nice and CLEAN! We are LOVING it! Tami hasnt quite moved in yet..but probably this weekend. What a nightmare..but we did it!

Where should I even begin with the whole house thing. This past weekend was a NIGHTMARE, but as of today we got it all pretty much cleaned and put together, well the inside anyway. There are still some stuff that needs cleaned and some boxes that need put away, but hey, we arent Superman! LOL It will take a few days to get it all done. The old owners didn't have all of their stuff out until Sunday afternoon. We had already brought everything except our bed and computer over on Saturday, so we were pretty much just playing the waiting game. They finally got everything (well not everything) but everything they were taking, out. They left A LOT to clean, and A LOT of stuff they left there too. The fridge/freezer was full, plus drawers, closets etc.. They even left their 2 cats. So we spent most of the day Sunday getting rid of everything they left so that we could clean and get our stuff put away. Yesterday I took off work at 1:30 and J.R. and I worked our butts off until 11pm getting things done. We have our livingroom pretty much done, our kitchen too. Tami's room and bathroom was the first rooms done, so she is ready to move in. Tami has been there since Saturday also helping. She has been a HUGE help. Our room needs some work, as that was the previous owners bedroom/office/smoking place. So the walls need cleaning. I dont mind doing the cleaning and stuff...it actually makes me feel better knowing I cleaned it how I want it and know that it is really clean. It just takes time is all. I am going to take some pictures tonight and hopefully get them posted on here. You will be surprised how much of difference there is!! Our doggies LOVE our new place.. they are so happy to be inside with their mommy and daddy. They get SO much love and attention now. They have adapted to the new baby and so all 3 of them have actually been really good. We have had a few accidents, but that will just come with time..Thank God for Pergo flooring! We are planning to move Tami in either this weekend or next. She doesn't have much so it will be a breeze to move her in. Well, I will be posting pictures like I said, soon!

Todays the Day...

Well today is the day we start moving.. Its going to be a LONG next few days..but I am so excited!!! I will be sure and update as soon as I can.. and of course, post pictures.
