Well, I just thought I would update on what we have been up to this last little while...theres been ups and theres been downs..but I think I can see a small glimpse of what might be the light at the end of the tunnel. On a good note, I started a new job on Wednesday. Today was my 3rd day and I'm happy to say I LOVE it~! I never thought I would enjoy working for a Credit Union..but I do! Afterall, who doesn't like playing with lots and lots of money all day long! More importantly, I love my boss. She is the same age as my mom and they have a lot of the same great qualities, so we get a long great. There are 5 women in our office (including me) and I really enjoy all of them. I caught on quickly and was already doing transactions the first day, so they were impressed with that, which made me feel good. Although my feet hurt like crazy right now, because I ran the drive up all day today. I feel really good about this job and its definately something I can see myself at for a long time. Whew! Finally! That is stress I can mark off my list. Other than that, not much else has been going on.. Just trying to get caught up and back on track with bills etc..as I'm sure a lot of people are feeling the effects of the economy right now. Its frustrating and exhausting, but at the end of the day I have my dear husband and my loving family and friends..and that definately makes up for it.
My new niece, Lia, is doing well..growing and doing her job of being so dang cute. I am so proud of my brother and the man he has become, but makes me sad at the same time.. my little brother is now a daddy! If thats not a reality check, Im not sure what is.
JR is doing well, working a lot lately..they have been pretty busy at work and its inventory time so he has been working a lot of overtime. I would like to report of fun and exciting things we have been doing, but there isnt any! LOL It's mostly work and home. (especially now that it is football season). My boss and another co-worker do scrapbooking on Friday nights and they have invited me to come whenever I want, so I might take them up on that soon. It would be nice to dig into my boxes of scrapbook stuff and do some pages again. It's been quite a while since I have done that. I'm thinking about setting up a table in my garage or in our spare bedroom so that I can go and do some pages while at home...especially Sundays when JR is "invisible" because football is on. :) Well, that is about it for now.. I'll leave you with a cute picture of Chico and Kiwi..they have become quite the buddies lately..which I am thankful for, but at the same time they drive me nuts!! :) This was their first time "cuddling" and I thought it was so cute. TahTah for now!!
